Privacy policy

This policy explains what TLDScope processes when providing domain search and price comparison, why it is processed, and the current data boundaries. Last updated: August 14, 2026.

Data we process

Domains you enter

The service processes complete domain names and may place them in a MySQL query queue and short-term cache. Domains are sent to configured registrar APIs. Do not enter personal information, internal codenames, or sensitive names that are not ready to be public.

IP addresses used for rate limiting

The service reads request IP addresses to limit high-frequency searches and protect registrar APIs. Current rate-limit counters are held in application memory and are not written to the domain-query database.

Technical logs

Servers or reverse proxies may log time, path, status code, and network address for security, troubleshooting, and capacity analysis. Retention depends on deployment configuration.

What we currently do not do

No user accounts, profiles, or payment features.
Domain search records are not sold.
Search history is not retained for advertising profiles.
This policy will be updated before analytics, accounts, or subscriptions are introduced.

Third-party registrars

Specific-domain searches may call APIs from NameSilo, GoDaddy, Name.com, and Dynadot. Purchase links take you to registrar websites governed by their own privacy policies.
